Authentication Data: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive your Google password.

Activity Data: Activities you create, join, or interact with, including messages, reviews, and group memberships.

Contact Codes: QR codes you create and messages received through them. Contact codes are anonymous to senders — they do not see your personal information.

Device Information: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers for push notifications.

Service Providers: We use Supabase (database/auth), Vercel (hosting), Firebase (push notifications), and Resend (email delivery).
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law or to protect safety.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and Row Level Security on our database. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

5. Your Rights

Access: You can view your data through your profile page.
Update: You can edit your profile information at any time.
Delete: You can request account deletion by contacting us.
Opt Out: You can disable push notifications in your browser settings.

6. Cookies

We use local storage to maintain your login session. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

BuddyAlly is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
