Welcome to BuddyAlly. By using our website and services at buddyally.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use BuddyAlly.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use BuddyAlly. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current information in your profile.
You may not create multiple accounts or impersonate others.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use BuddyAlly for illegal activities
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
Spam or send unsolicited messages
Attempt to collect personal information from other users
Use automated tools to scrape or access BuddyAlly
Interfere with the security or operation of the service

4. Activities and Meetups

BuddyAlly is a platform that connects people. We do not organize, supervise, or guarantee the safety of any in-person activities or meetups. Users participate at their own risk.

You are responsible for your own safety when meeting others.
We encourage meeting in public places, especially for first-time meetups.
BuddyAlly provides trust tools (ID verification, ratings, reviews) but cannot guarantee any user's behavior.

5. Contact Codes

Contact Codes allow anonymous messaging between code owners and senders. By using Contact Codes:

Code owners agree to receive messages from unknown senders.
Senders agree not to use codes for harassment or abuse.
We may moderate or remove codes used for prohibited purposes.

6. Tips and Payments

BuddyAlly may offer optional tipping features. Tips are voluntary and non-refundable. BuddyAlly is not a payment processor and is not responsible for disputes between users regarding tips.

7. Content

You retain ownership of content you post (photos, text, reviews). By posting, you grant BuddyAlly a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display your content on the platform.

We may remove content that violates these terms or our Community Guidelines.

8. Verification

BuddyAlly offers optional identity verification (email, phone, government ID). Verification badges indicate a user has completed a verification step — they do not guarantee identity or trustworthiness.

9. Limitation of Liability

BuddyAlly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

Actions or behavior of other users
Injuries, damages, or losses from in-person meetups
Lost or stolen items related to Contact Codes
Service interruptions or data loss

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuddyAlly's total liability shall not exceed $100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold BuddyAlly harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use BuddyAlly ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of BuddyAlly after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state where BuddyAlly operates.
